The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Early Learning and Child Care Program is pleased to offer the College of Early Childhood Educators Membership and Renewal Reimbursement Program. Through this Program all Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) can apply to the Métis Nation of Ontario to have their College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) membership and renewal fees covered by the MNO.

Métis RECE’s provide quality childcare and early learning programing across the province and we appreciate all the hard work and dedication they provide to students. RECE’s play an extremely important role in a child’s early development and often go above and beyond to support best practice in their learning environments.

To qualify for reimbursement, Métis RECE’s must:

  • Be in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
  • Be a Citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario
  • Reside in Ontario
  • Have proof of purchase of renewal or membership fees.

The MNO will reimburse any membership or renewal fee that were paid after April 1, 2021.

To apply please complete the Reimbursement Form. Forms can be submitted by email to or by letter mail to the MNO Thorold Office at:
