The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is pleased to offer the Strategic Partnership Program. The goal of this Program is to enhance labour market partnership development activity and support skills development through employment projects. The Program works to address labour market shortages in emerging employment sectors and provides funding to participants to attend conferences and workshops focused on employment and training.
To be eligible for this Program you must be a Métis individual who is either unemployed, under-employed, or whose employment is at risk due to labour market changes, insufficient employment skills, certification.
Training costs covered by this Program include:
- Tuition
- Textbooks and related supplies
- Specialized equipment
- Lab and Exam Certification Fees
- Transportation expenses
- Child care expenses
