The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is pleased to offer the Post-Secondary Education Tutoring Program.

The MNO has partnered with Tutor Ocean, a dedicated global online tutoring platform, to provide citizens with access to AI tutoring support while they are enrolled in Post-Secondary Education.

To qualify for the MNO Post-Secondary Education Tutoring Program applicants must:

  • Currently be a Métis student attending or accepted into an accredited post-secondary program at a recognized Canadian University or College
  • Be an MNO citizen residing in Canada

Successful applicants will be contacted directly by Tutor Ocean and provided with details on how to log into their user account.

It depends, if you are receiving other supports for your current Post-Secondary Education program from the MNO please reach out to psesupport@metisnation.org to assess your eligibility.

After your application has been approved by the MNO, Tutor Ocean will contact you and provide instructions on how to begin your AI tutoring journey.

Each successful applicant will be supplied with unlimited use of AI tutoring.

In the event that the AI platform is not working for you it is possible to be matched with a qualified tutor that can conduct one on one, subject specific, virtual sessions.

AI tutoring sessions can be accessed at any time that works for the client including throughout the day, evening, weekends and holidays.
