Scope of the Census
From June 29, 2022, to January 31, 2023, over 8,000 Métis citizens from across Ontario shared information on the size and age of their households, and the condition of their homes, by responding to the first-ever MNO-led Housing Census. Thank you to all of the households who responded!
Survey results were cross-checked with MNO Registry data to ensure that only households with one or more MNO citizens were included. Confirmed information about each MNO Region is coming soon, as well.
To share Housing Census results, the MNO is offering a series of ten “snapshots”, starting with results for all of Ontario. Below are the initial results of the MNO Housing Census, organized into subgroups and interesting themes.
