A Place in The Circle: Transgender Day of Visibility
March 31 is Transgender Day of Visibility. A day that serves to raise awareness about transgender people and to celebrate the lives and contributions of trans individuals. TDOV also highlights the poverty, discrimination, and violence that many in the community continue to face.
To mark this important day, the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is hosting a free virtual workshop:
A Place in The Circle

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Zoom (Free to attend)
This session will explore:
- Inclusive language
- Pronoun use
- Trans experiences
- Concepts of gender, sex, and orientation
- Government policy and laws that impact the community
While the workshop is free, pre-registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
