ELCC Fall 2026 Virtual Camp: Family Game Night – Play Your Cards Right!
Métis families are invited to take part in a free Fall Virtual Camp featuring hands-on, play-based learning through do-it-yourself card games.
Held over three consecutive evenings — November 3, 4, and 5, 2026 — the camp will give children and families a chance to connect, learn, and share stories together from home.
Each one-hour session will feature similar activities, with each evening designed for a different age group. Families may attend the session that best fits their child’s age group or join all three sessions.
The camp is offered by the MNO Early Learning and Child Care team and is open to eligible Métis families with early learners between [confirm age range].
Session age groups:
- November 3: Bunny Age Group, ages 0–4
- November 4: Fox Age Group, ages 5–8
- November 5: Moose Age Group, ages 9–12
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- One parent or child must be a Métis Nation of Ontario citizen eligible to receive direct benefits.
- The family must reside in Ontario.
- The family must have at least one child between the ages of 0 – 12 and one parent or guardian present and participating during the workshop.
- The family must be able to access the internet and have a device that can connect to Zoom.
- The family must be interested in learning about Métis history and culture from an early learning perspective.
- The family must be willing to participate in a digital environment.
