Building a proud Métis future, one home at a time.

Fourteen new affordable rental homes are complete in Midland, creating more opportunities for Métis Citizens and families to find a safe, quality place to call home while staying connected to loved ones and community.

Designed by Métis architect David T. Fortin with Métis Citizens and families in mind, this development reflects the Métis Nation of Ontario’s commitment to turning community needs into practical solutions. It is an example of Métis self-government in action: building the foundations for thriving families, prosperous communities and a stronger Nation.

Join MNO elected leadership and staff, local officials, and the Honourable Rebecca Alty, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony as we celebrate this milestone and the partnerships that helped make it possible.
