How to Vote in the Ontario Election
Make sure you’re ready to vote and have your say in shaping Ontario’s future! Here’s what you need to know:
Check Your Voter Information
- Confirm, update, or register to vote by February 17 to receive a voter information card with details on when and where to vote.
Ways to Vote
Vote by Mail
- Apply here by February 21 at 6 PM (ET) to receive your voting kit
- Your completed voting kit must be received by Elections Ontario by 6 PM (ET) on February 27 to be counted.
Vote Early at Your Local Election Office
- You can vote in person from January 30 until 6 PM (ET) on February 26 at your local election office. Bring your ID!
Advance Voting
- Vote at any advance polling station in your electoral district from 10 AM to 8 PM (ET) between February 20 and 22. Bring your ID!
Election Day – February 27
- Cast your ballot at your assigned voting location between 9 AM and 9 PM (ET). Bring your MNO Citizenship card to use as ID!
Accessible Voting Options
- Assistive voting technology is available at local election offices from February 20 to 26 and at designated advance polling stations from February 20 to 22.
- To use assistive voting technology on Election Day (February 27), contact your local election office to book an appointment.
