The virtual camps will be held in the spring, fall, and winter on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) throughout the year.

2025-2026 ELCC Virtual Camp Programming Schedule:

Dates: May 7, 14, 21, 28, 2025

Registration Period: April 7, 2025 – April 11, 2025

  1. Virtual Camp (Ages zero (0) to twelve (12))

Theme: Beyond Bread: Creative Uses for Your Bread Machine

Dates: November 5, 12, 19, 26, 2025

Registration Period: October 6, 2025 – October 10, 2025

  1. Virtual Camp (Ages zero (0) to twelve (12))

Theme: To be determined

Dates: March 4, 11, 25, 2026

Registration Period: January 19, 2026 – January 23, 2026

Eligibility Criteria:

These virtual camps are available to children and families that meet the following criteria:

  • One parent, legal guardian, or child must be a Métis Nation of Ontario citizen and must reside in Ontario.
  • Have at least one child aged zero (0) to twelve (12) present during the workshop.
  • Participants must be able to access the internet and have a device to connect to Zoom.
  • A willingness to participate in a digital environment is necessary. Parents must complete a free 30-minute certificate class on Sexual Abuse Prevention.
  • Parents must read and sign the ELCC Code of Conduct and Child Protection policies.
  • Selected families will receive one kit per family, which contains the required materials to participate in the virtual camp.

Other Considerations:

  • The child’s parent or legal guardian must complete the application.
  • Acceptance priority will be given to families that have not previously attended any ELCC camps.
  • Families not initially registered will be added to a waitlist for potential openings before the start date.
  • If you are accepted but unable to attend, we require at least five days’ notice to provide another family with the opportunity to participate.
  • Please note that capacity for the Virtual Camp is limited; only approved applications will receive a confirmation email.
