Métis Grandparent Social Group

Join the Developmental Resource Consultants for a Métis grandparent social group. Starting October 1 and continuing bi-weekly until December 10 the group will discuss building connections, Métis culture, and developing tools to interact positively with your grandchild.

Grandparents can be such an essential part of a child’s life so we look forward to bringing grandparents together to build connections and knowledge about child development.

Registration Period: September 15-30, 2025.

Once you have submitted the form, a link will be sent to the email address provided before the session. If you have any questions, please email the DRC team at DRCsupport@metisnation.org.

The dates of the workshops are as follows:

• October: 1, 15 and 29,
• November: 12 and 26
• December: 10

All workshops are from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST

To be eligible for the Family Workshops, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• One parent/guardian or Grandparent must be a Métis Nation of Ontario citizen.
• Have at least one child or grandchild between 0 and 12 years old.
• Ability to access the internet and have a device to connect to Zoom.
