Webinar: The Occupational Therapy Connection – Fine Motor Skills, Sensory Skills, and Emotional Regulation
Are you looking to support your child’s independence in daily activities? If so, we invite you to the Early Learning Workshop, hosted by Developmental Resource Consultants (DRC), focusing on essential daily living skills for children.
This session will feature guest speaker Vanessa Crudo, an experienced occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. Vanessa has worked extensively with children and families, including at the Hospital for Sick Children, and brings a practical, family-centred approach to supporting child development.
In this workshop, Vanessa will share practical strategies to support your child’s growth in self-care, mealtime skills, personal hygiene, and other foundational life skills. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss occupational therapy, ask questions, and connect with fellow caregivers in a welcoming environment.
To take part in the Family Workshops, families must:
- Have at least one child or grandchild between 0 and 12 years old.
- Have a parent, guardian, or grandparent who is an MNO citizen.
- Be able to connect to Zoom using the internet and a device.
