Just in time for the New Year comes a new look for the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) website! And as we head into 2021, our resolution is to make sure our website is accessible to all of our Citizens while working to eliminate potential barriers. We hope for your support and feedback as we get to work implementing this resolution to the best of our abilities!
With this new website, we hope that all Citizens will be able to access timely news and information about the MNO and our programs and services, regardless of potential disabilities. As we aspire to make the website the best it can be, we ask for your support and feedback during this significant transition. A survey will be circulated early in the New Year, and we invite you to be a part of our redesign process by providing us with your recommendations and input.
The MNO Communications team will endeavour to incorporate as much feedback as possible. However, it is important to note that some features of the old site cannot be replicated within the new site because of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act requirements, mobile requirements, and technological updates that have occurred since the original site was first launched.
We look forward to hearing about how the MNO community likes our new look and hearing your feedback! We also thank all Citizens, staff, community members, and members of the public in advance for their patience as we carry out this exciting transition!
