AGA Vendor Fair Information

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) extends a warm invitation to vendors, corporations, and non-profit organizations to join us at our upcoming Vendor Fair, in conjunction with the MNO’s Annual General Assembly.
 
Date: August 14–16, 2026
Location: Fort William Historical Park, Thunder Bay, Ontario
 
We welcome your participation in this exciting event, providing a platform for showcasing your offerings to our community.
Each vendor will be provided with a designated space, which includes a table and two chairs. Please note that electrical outlets may be limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
Event Operating Hours: The MNO AGA Vendor Fair is scheduled to be open to the public during the following hours:
 
  • Friday, August 14 from 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., during AGA Meeting hours.
  • Saturday, August 15 from 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., during AGA Meeting hours.
  • Sunday, August 16 from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m., during AGA Meeting hours.
Due to limited space availability, we encourage early registration. Métis businesses, artists, and creators to apply by June 1.

FREE Pre-AGA Marketing Support
 
The MNO is pleased to partner with Métis-owned Advocate Strategies to provide free pre-AGA marketing support to eligible MNO host community (Region 2/Northern Lake Superior Historic Métis Community) citizen-owned businesses, including:
 
  • Professional custom logo design
  • Brand style guide with your custom colours and fonts
  • 1,000 complementary business cards
  • Custom table runner for your AGA vendor fair table
Space are limited! The application deadline is June 1, 2026 with application for the free pre-AGA marketing support accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Businesses in Region 2 are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure their marketing support is completed before the AGA. 
 
Cost: FREE for eligible Region 2 MNO citizen-owned businesses. Successful vendors will be required to submit a $200 refundable deposit to secure their table and participation in the pre-AGA marketing services program.
 
Eligibility:
  • Métis citizens of the Greenstone Métis Council, Superior North Shore Métis Council, and Thunder Bay and District Métis Council.
  • Product-selling businesses, service-based businesses, artists, and creators.
  • Pre-AGA marketing support is available to individuals who have not previously accessed this service.
All applicants are required to verify MNO citizenship.
