Call for Host Communities: MNO AGAs 2027 & 2028!

Call for Expressions of Interest from MNO Community Councils to Host the 2027 and 2028 MNO Annual General Assembly

The MNO is seeking communities interested in hosting each of the 2027 and 2028 Annual General Assemblies (AGAs)!

PCMNO has set the dates of MNO AGA 2027 for Thursday, August 19, to Sunday, August 22, 2027.

PCMNO has set the dates of MNO AGA 2028 for Thursday, August 17, to Sunday, August 20, 2028.

All interested MNO Community Councils are encouraged to consider submitting their Expression of Interest to host either AGA.

Each Expression of Interest should include:

  • The name of the person who will be the key contact from the Council to liaise with MNO staff and their contact information;
  • A list of venues suitable to host AGA business meetings for approximately 400 people (arenas, halls, theatres, outdoor spaces that could accommodate a large tent with audio video, etc.) providing information about their capacity, availability and a ball-park rental cost;
  • A list of accommodation options (including camping) available in your community indicating their locations and capacities;
  • A plan for the look and feel of the host community on the Thursday night Presidents Welcome and Canoe Landing of the AGA;
  • Options for other planned social events in your area (in the past, AGA’s planned social events included boat cruises, campfires, etc.);
  • An indication of your Council’s volunteer capacity.
  • If your council is applying to host in 2027 and is not chosen, if you would like to be considered for hosting in 2028?
