Award-winning sing-songwriter, proud Métis citizen, and composer of the “We Aspire” the Métis Nation of Ontario song, Amanda Rheaume, needs your help! Please see Amanda’s request below:

I’m excited to share that I’ve recorded a new song called “I Won’t Hide,” inspired by the historic day Steve and Roddy Powley hunted the moose. The song, set to release on September 19th, celebrates our Métis rights and heritage with an empowering tone.

I’m creating digital artwork for the song and need your help! I’m looking for photos of Métis citizens of any age, including old photos of our ancestors. The photos should feature people looking mostly straight on into the camera.

Why? I want to craft a powerful photo composite to visually honor our community and ancestors, showing that we are here and we matter. The artwork will be featured on music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, as well as on social media.”“Thank you for helping make this project special!
