The Métis Nation of Ontario needs your talent and creativity to develop a logo for the MNO Great Lakes Advisory Group!
Who are we?
Formed in the spring of 2022, the MNO Great Lakes Advisory Group works with MNO Regional Consultation Committees within the Great Lakes watershed to engage and inspire MNO citizens according to it’s vision – that is to heal and promote respect for the Great Lakes by building on our past, empowering our present and protecting our future.
What are we looking for?
For the preliminary stage of the contest we are looking for a visual mock-up of your concept for our logo — a sketch, a rough digital design, etc. — with a brief explanation of how your concept fits with the MNO Great Lakes Advisory Group vision. The rougher the sketch, the more important the explanation will be in helping in the selection process. You can also include items that may help the advisory group make their decision such as previous work you have done.
Please include an estimated timeframe production of a final version. Once a concept has been selected the creator will be notified of the specific details for a finished product and the timeline for completion.
Who can apply?
The contest is open to MNO citizens. Please include your MNO citizenship number with your entry.
What could you win?
All those who submit a concept will be entered in a draw for five $200 gift cards to Curry’s Art Store. For chosen concept(s), the artist(s) will receive a commission of $2000 to produce a final product.
Deadline:
Please submit your concepts to greatlakes@metisnation.org by noon on March 31, 2022
