Community Wellbeing Workshop to Explore Grounding, Mindfulness and Coping Skills

FREE ZOOM WORKSHOP

October 29, 2026 | 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Traumatic experiences and the effects of violence can make it difficult to stay grounded in the present.

This fall, the Métis Nation of Ontario’s Community Wellbeing Branch is offering a free workshop focused on practical grounding, mindfulness and coping strategies that can help participants reconnect with the present moment and manage challenging experiences.

Presented by Carolyn Luscombe, Victim Services Coordinator, the session will introduce grounding and mindfulness techniques, along with resourcing and coping strategies that participants can incorporate into everyday life.
The workshop is free to attend, but registration is required.
