The MNO Community Wellbeing Branch is inviting citizens and community members to take part in Defend & Empower, a free virtual workshop focused on building confidence, awareness, and practical personal safety skills.

Taking place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom, the workshop is open to anyone looking to strengthen their personal safety skills, including those concerned about relationship dynamics, personal safety, or the safety of a loved one.

Participants will explore practical self-defense and personal safety strategies that can be applied in everyday situations, including approaches to staying safer at home, while dating, and in the community.
