Join us for our upcoming Métis Grandparent Social Group sessions, hosted by the Developmental Resource Consultants from the MNO’s Early Learning and Child Care branch. This interactive group is designed to help you connect with other grandparents, share your experiences, and learn new ways to engage positively with your grandchildren.

What to Expect:
Our Métis Grandparent Social Group will focus on fostering connections and sharing knowledge about child development within a Métis cultural context. This is more than just a gathering—it’s an opportunity to exchange insights, discuss Métis traditions, and develop tools to create meaningful and positive interactions with your grandchildren.
We believe in the power of community and the value of respectful, interactive discussions. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of Métis culture or seeking advice on grandparenting, this group is for you.
Eligibility Criteria:
To participate, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- One parent/guardian or grandparent must be a Métis Nation of Ontario citizen eligible for direct benefits under MNO Policy #2021-001: Eligibility for Direct Benefits Programs and Services Policy.
- The child must be between 0-12 years old.
- Participants must have access to the internet and a device to connect via Zoom.
