The MNO Canoe Expedition made a surprise visit at the MNO Peterborough
& District Wapiti Métis Council’s Wildlife Dinner and Comedy Night on June 7.

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Peterborough & District Wapiti Metis Council held a Wildlife Dinner and Comedy Night at the Canoe Museum in Peterborough on June 7, 2014. The event was a great success with over 130 guests who were all treated to a tour of the Canoe Museum and a delicious wildlife dinner consisting of wild turkey, buffalo, moose and venison.

The event also included a surprise visit by the young MNO Voyageurs, who stopped by during their Canoe Expedition. Stories of their voyage since hitting the water on May 26 were shared with the audience.

The night was wrapped up with the hilarious comedy routine of Denis Grignon, who had everyone roaring. It was a fantastic night full of great stories and laughter!
