ELCC Virtual Camp IllustrationThe Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) team have developed The Métis Early Learning Virtual Camp for Métis early learners between the ages of three (3) and twelve (12), their siblings, and parents. The camp provides an opportunity to learn more about Métis culture and way of life from an early learning perspective. Children will participate in hands-on play-based cultural activities in a safe and engaging manner. Parents will also have the opportunity to learn more about MNO’s programs and services.

There will be two (2) camps offered, each taking place over a two (2) week period: October 12-23 (subject to change) and October 26 – November 8 (subject to change). Workshops will run three (3) days a week:

  • Tuesday 5:30-7:00PM Eastern Time (3-6 years old)
  • Thursday 6:00-8:00PM Eastern Time (7-12 years old)
  • Saturday or Sunday 9:30-11:30AM Eastern Time (3-12 years old)

Selected families will have kits supplied to them and other required items will be covered by the MNO ELCC program through a pre-determined method and amount.
