Call for Board Members: Métis Infinity Investments
Métis Infinity Investments (MII) is seeking qualified individuals to serve on its Board of Directors.
MII is the investment arm of the Métis Nation of Ontario, established to pursue business and investment opportunities that contribute to the long-term prosperity and self-sufficiency of the Métis Nation.
The Role
Board members provide governance, strategic oversight and stewardship of MII and its investment activities. Directors are expected to participate actively in Board business and contribute their knowledge, experience and judgment to MII’s long-term direction.
The Board meets at least quarterly. Meetings may be held virtually or in person at locations across Ontario. Directors may also be asked to represent MII at third-party events or MNO-related business.
Board members receive nominal compensation for their service.
We Are Looking For
MII is seeking candidates who can bring relevant experience and expertise to the Board, including experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business, finance or investment
- Real estate, infrastructure or other real assets
- Equity and/or debt investment
- Governance and Board leadership
- Senior executive or C-suite leadership
- Investment-related education or professional qualifications
How to Apply
Interested candidates will be required to submit:
- A current résumé
- A cover letter summarizing the applicant’s interest in serving on the MII Board, the experience and expertise they would bring to the role, and identifying any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest that could arise in connection with serving on the Board
- Three professional references, one of whom must be able to speak specifically to the applicant’s governance and Board leadership experience
