This fall, the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is releasing a series of three TV commercials on APTN that focus on Métis success stories. These commercials started airing the evening of Tuesday, September 13, 2016 on the APTN Prime Time and Late News and will also air on the programs Longmire on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and Mohawk Girls on Tuesdays. The Commercials will air until November 6, 2016.

The MNO We Aspire commercials all feature the song We Aspire. The MNO commissioned MNO citizen and awarding winning and Juno nominated singer/songwriter Amanda Rheaume to write a song based on the MNO Statement of Prime Purpose that captured the spirit of our MNO success stories.

The third commercial focuses on Emily, a Métis youth studying to be an Environmental Technician at Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie. If you missed the commercial on APTN, you can view it below:

The second commercial focuses on Alison, a graduate from Humber College’s Film and Media Production Program. Alison is now a Manager for Women in Film and Television in Toronto. If you missed the commercial on APTN, you can view it below:
