About the Summer Youth Program

This year, the MNO successfully recruited 27 Métis youth as part of the ever-popular MNO Summer Youth Program (SYP)! Through SYP, youth provide free online scheduled workshops over Zoom which give people of all ages the opportunity to engage with Métis culture and history through facilitated activities such as music, dance, traditional crafts, and games. These capable Métis students from across Ontario have been available all summer to deliver engaging, interpretive Métis cultural workshops across the province.

About the MNOYC Tea Series:

The Métis Nation of Ontario Youth Council (MNOYC) and MNO President Margret Froh are co-hosting an on-going online Tea Series on the first Tuesday of every month at 7PM via Zoom! The Tea Series is open to any Métis youth who want to join! The MNOYC and President Froh will provide updates on current initiatives and welcome special guests speakers to broaden the discussion and learn.
