Remembering Allan Vallee
Honouring a Lifetime of Dedication and Community Spirit
The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is saddened to learn of the passing of Allan Vallee on April 19, 2025. Allan was a proud Métis citizen and devoted family man whose life reflected hard work, service, and deeply held values.
After 12 years working aboard Great Lakes ships and more than three decades at the local flour mill, Allan retired to his cherished family farm. He was a passionate outdoorsman and sportsman, and a dedicated volunteer whose contributions were recognized with the Queen’s Jubilee Medal.
Allan will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 73 years, Audrey, and a large, loving family who will continue his legacy.
The MNO extends heartfelt condolences to the Vallee family and all who knew and loved Allan. His life and contributions will not be forgotten.
