Your Voice Matters! Join MNO’s Anti-Racism Strategy Engagement
Ontario is actively tackling systemic racism, and your input is crucial in shaping the province’s Anti-Racism Strategy!
In 2016, the Ontario government created the Anti-Racism Directorate (ARD) to work with communities in developing and implementing anti-hate strategies. The Anti-Racism Strategic Plan focuses on ending systemic racism and promoting racial equity, with a public review every five years.
To contribute to this work, the MNO Rights, Research & Policy team is preparing an engagement strategy to gather input from MNO citizens. Your input will ensure Métis perspectives are represented and help shape policies that address the realities faced by Métis in Ontario.
MNO citizens can share their perspectives and experiences via an online survey. As well, Zoom sessions are being planned with youth, women, veterans, and 2SLGTBQ+ groups for the spring of 2024. Stay tuned for details on how to participate!
Your voice matters in shaping a more inclusive and equitable Ontario. Let’s work to combat systemic racism and champion Métis pride together!
