The Métis Nation of Ontario’s Health Resources Project and Virtual Health Care Program, funded by the Government of Canada’s Indigenous Health Equity Fund is a new initiative to improve access to care and address coverage gaps for Métis citizens across the province.

These programs are funded by the Government of Canada as part of its investment in the health and wellbeing of Métis citizens. The initiatives reflect MNO’s responsibility and authority to design and deliver programs that meet the priorities of its citizens. These programs are part of the MNO’s continued work to implement self-government and advance distinctions-based services for Métis in Ontario.
