The Métis Nation of Ontario’s Early Learning and Child Care Quality Improvement Project (QIP) has developed a connected set of learning and practice supports for early years professionals working with children from birth to age six.

Informed by research with educators, Métis parents and caregivers, and MNO Senators and Knowledge Holders, these resources are designed to build educators’ knowledge and confidence in respectfully and consistently reflecting Ontario Métis cultures, identities, languages, and ways of knowing in everyday early learning and child care environments.

The QIP resources include a three-part online learning series, a limited-supply QIP Kit, and a reflective workbook. The modules build understanding, the kit places selected resources in educators’ hands, and the workbook supports reflection, planning, and practical application.
